So if that timeline is correct, goro has never once caused a psychotic breakdown, mental shutdown, or murder without shido forcing him into it. then shido proceeds to make goro use the psychotic breakdown ability to destroy his political opponents.that persona has the psychotic breakdown ability (call of chaos) that shido wants.gets tortured by shido (and maybe wakaba) to make him manifest a second persona.goes to shido with robin hood and his metaverse abilities (which does NOT include call of chaos, by the way) to prove that he could be useful to shido, gets himself wrapped up in the conspiracy,.goro gets robin hood first (which makes sense, because he’d be less jaded as a young child and believe in an idealistic view of justice),.(that’s a line from persona 5 vanilla, by the way.) so that implies that it was shido, or someone else on shido’s orders, who forced loki out of goro. I also think it’s really funny because if loki is the result of medical experiments and persona torture and so on, that explains shido’s line from his boss fight (that akechi wouldn’t have unlocked his true potential without shido). this post from lokiarsene explains the connection. that persona is probably loki, because hereward implies that robin hood is his first persona, and we know that goro had his first persona from before he met shido. From the featherman game in royal, which implies that goro underwent “medical experiments” that forced a persona out of him.
